I was informed on Tuesday that they will be closing Heritage on Thursday! Wow, two days notice. You would think after being a loyal and good employee for sixteen years that you would get more than two days notice. It just proves most people in this world aren't worth a f&#k and will lie and deceive you no matter how long you have known them or worked for them.

TURKEY BOW HUNTING

Tried turkey hunting with a bow out of a blind for the first time. Very hard to shoot a bow out of a blind and not be seen. We saw several birds and it was a complete blast. Hopefully I will have another chance to get one this season.

Three questions:

CALE IS GETTING NERVOUS

Cale still beat me today, but he was a little more worried. He beat me by 12 on the first 15 targets and by 7 on the second 15(and I had a 0 on one we guessed the yardage wrong and I was the first shooter!). The gap between the bottom-feeders and McAnutt is closing fast.

Scores from today on a much harder course than last time.

Cale 273, 11 points better than last time

Saturday is the second go round of 3D at Ritter. McAnutt, Uncle Jeff, Fair Weather Doug and myself are set to go about 8AM in the morning.

AS GOOD AS ROBIN HOOD, BUT NOT CALE

This arrow was the third shot of a three shot group at twenty yards. Kind of cool until you think about how much the arrow cost. Now that I have done it I hope it does not happen again.

I have got close to Cale but can't seem to beat him, yet. I will, but it will take some work. He just never makes a bad mistake(outside of Cross Nationals).
