DEER AND TURKEY

Deer season is over and I was lucky enough to bag one deer. Thirty minutes into opening morning I popped a spike at 150 yards. He should be some good eating, I am having him turned into summer sausage, jerky and brats. Overall the season was a little disappointing as I only saw two deer, the one I shot and the ass of another one. I hunted several days and was in the woods early and late. I hunted from the ground and stands and hunted even though one day it was 15 degrees! I hunted in Cabool, Houston and St Robert and still little luck. I did have some fun camping and hunting with Hammer, Clay, Jeffrey and McAnutt. Hopefully muzzleloader and the rest of bow season will be better. Otherwise deer season 2008 will be like the rest of 2008, shitty!

Heading to KC with the girls on Wednesday for Turkey Day. We should have a good time and of course Sophia will be spoiled by Grammy.

READY FOR DEER SEASON

It is almost deer season. I have several days of hunting planned and hopefully will get to hunt with Clay, Cale, MC Hammer and Jeff Nelson. If I don't get a deer I hope to get a rabbit like the one pictured above.

Three questions:

1) Do you plan on going to JQH Arena?

2) Will you be glad when 2008 is over?

3) Would you grow a beard if it was acceptable where you work?
