I THOUGHT CROSS RACERS WERE TOUGH

I am out of loop on the biking scene. I had heard some rumbling about a scuffle or fracas involving some of the Springfield boys but did not know what had happen(I did figure Cale was involved somehow!). Now I have heard the story and, frankly, am appalled. Professional cross racers who race in poor weather, Europe, etc are supposed to be tough! This guy and his family sound like a bunch of pussies. Another example of Americans getting soft. He races in Europe, do people not yell and heckle in America? Page should admit that when the chips are down he can't get it done. Last time he won a big race I was skinny!

Cross people also need to come to the realization that most of America do not even know what a cross race is! They also do not care. I think it is a great sport and when you are in shape and the course is cool it is about as much fun as you can have on a bike. That being said I have never seen Page on ESPN or even Fox Midwest. A note to his wife, some people believe if you can throw a punch like a man you can also receive one.

I would also like to tell Mr Sachs that you can't ask for retail on a bike that has been used for the whole cross season. It is a shame that your bikes were victims in this drunken fracas but you need to calm down. Maybe next time you should have the bikes in racks and not just strewn all over if they are worth so much money.

I also wish that Patrick fag who wrote about the fight on VeloNews would get to square off with McAnutt and see if he could close his piehole!

The one good thing that came out of this is that I was not in attendance.

Three questions:

1) Is my car the only one equipped with turn signals?

2) Did Cale find his phone?

3) Is your Christmas shopping done?

Bye for now and Merry Christmas,
Shane

p.s. I did not post the first picture which has Jim getting knocked down, I will in the future because it is the funniest one.
