At her first baseball game, she loved it!

Reading in her "little" chair while I work on the computer.

2) Do you have to work on Monday?

3) Did you know that I might be getting a new road bike?

NOT MUCH HAPPENING

Not much going on lately and that is why the lack of posts. I need to take some new pictures of The Pink Panther and post them. Been doing some landscaping in the backyard. My brother has been helping with that. I have some to do on the south side of the house and a tree needs to be planted in the front yard and that will be it for the outside. Next spring I plan on extending the patio and making a grilling area. Have been riding some lately and really enjoying it. Is the fever coming back?

Tomorrow some golf with friends and then hang out with Sophia. Company tourney on Sunday at Rivercut, should be fun.

Three questions:

1) Do you know Spanish?

2) Have you ever been to court?

3) How many years should Michael Vick get?

HAPPENINGS

Well let's see what is happening. I think my ankle is injured worse than I thought from the football game. I tore the hell out of a Scott CR1 SL CD while on a test ride. I having been riding some and actually enjoying it. I played golf twice in the heat last week. Sophia is growing and is so precious, she also just got a Remy stuffed animal.

This weekend the family went to KC to see the in-laws and watch some of the Springfield boys race. Three races in the Tour of KC this year. All hotter than hell and all tough, yet fun, courses. iBud did really well in races with the other fast old guys. Trailer Man continued his impressive riding with three good finishes in some big fields. The BMC boys, McAnutt and Jimmy The Cricket put the hammer down three times in some ungodly hot weather. It was so hot during their race on Saturday that I would go in the port-a-potty to cool down! Every lap on Sat and Sun we would throw cold water on them to try and keep them cool. Those two are some hardass mothers and rode tough all weekend. Anyone who raced this weekend is tough and congrats to all.

I hear The Mansfield Lion is doing well. That is very good news and we were thinking of him in KC.

Three questions:

1) Have you seen the movie 300? (No)

2) Wilco or Son Volt? (Son Volt, I wish they were all still Uncle Tupelo)

3) Do you know who Remy is? (I do)

SUNDAY

Sundays are always fun because I get to spend lots of time with The Pink Panther. She is so much fun now and keeps you hopping and laughing all day long. Today we got up early to go to mass and that is one of her favorite things. She likes to shake hands with Father Paul and look around at everyone. Today we sat behind a guy I know and his breath is so bad that even if he is facing forward you can smell it. It was so bad I made CJ move down so I would not vomit! That is the truth too. Don't you think you would look into getting that fixed.

After mass my brother, Seth, came over and I took him on his first road ride. The cross bike with slicks was his ride and he did pretty well. He had his first flat after hitting a sharp rock and cutting the sidewall, luckily I had a piece of overnight letter with me to patch it. He also had his first battle with Alpe De Sponge. We will call that one a draw. Even though he wanted to puke and quit he did neither. Hopefully he will go on some more rides. While we were patching up we saw Jason Bear, I Luv The 80's and PatA&B. It was nice running into them again and maybe after I get back in some semblence of shape we can go for a spin. That was my third ride in eight days!

Three questions:

1) Was it hot at State Crit?

2) Do you run a compact crankset?

3) Weather permitting(meaning not too hot), white kit or black?

KEEPING UP WITH THE HOGANS

One of my few goals in life is to have something Bud does not have. I recently had a pool installed at the house to be one up on Bud!

Three questions:

1) Visa or American Express?

2) Do you think Cale will update his blog first or Jim will find a girlfriend?

3) If you had $10,000 to spend would you buy one road bike or a road bike and a mountain bike?

Bye for now,
Shane
