FREEDOM OF SPEECH

I am not going to have much to say in this entry because I do not want to offend anyone. Since our country is now made up of a bunch of whining pussies you can't say anything anymore. Say goodbye to freedom of speech, that ship has sailed!

Instead we will have more pictures of the young and gorgeous Pink Panther!

Three questions:

1) Have you ever seen a Maine Coon cat?

2) Did you know I played 18 at Millwood in 2:35(and it was cart path only)?

3) Does anyone have Wilco's album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot?

Bye for now,
Shane

AP AND UD AND MORE

This past weekend we were graced by the presence of Aunt Paula and Uncle Dwight straight from California! They were, of course, in town to see The Monkey, like everyone who comes to visit. They stayed at the house for a few days and we had a great time. Some local spots were visited and of course lots of time spent eating and chatting. Sophia was showered with too many presents as usual and really enjoyed having more people around to show off for!

On Wednesday I spent a wonderful morning shopping with Sophia. We went to Petsmart to buy some senior food for Spongie Toot Toot. We found several flavors we knew he would enjoy and also found out that all senior food is $5 per bag more expensive! After that we went to Best Buy to look for a portable DVD player for Sophia to take on our trip to Kiawah and that process went pretty well so we were in and out in about fifteen minutes. On to Target. Armed with a long list from Moms we hit the store running. Sophia had a great time but she was really only killing time until I could take her to Donalds! We had fun at lunch and went home to play in the yard before nap time.

Sophia is one fun kid.

Three questions:

1) Who is the man-lover that Emery cut out of the picture on his blog?

2) Are you glad that UFC 70 is free on Spike Saturday?

3) Did you know that Sophia has a new nickname from the guys at work(The Pink Panther)?

Shane

LOVELY EASTER

We had a lovely Easter with church, lunch at Agrario and lots of family time. Thanks to the in-laws, Katie, Seth, Cj and The Monkey for a lovely holiday!

Three questions:

1) Did you know McAnutt likes hair in his cake?

2) Did you watch the UFC on Saturday?

3) How many trees do you have in your yard?

THE GREAT FLYING MONKEY

The day we cleaned up my yard from the limb that fell on my house this picture was taken. Sophia loves for me to toss her up in the air over and over again. "Up, pease, again." is all she says. My mother-in-law and brother get too nervous to watch.

Shane

p.s. For Scotty and Cale I did not spell please incorrectly, that is how she says it.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

Several things have been going on but nothing real exciting. I did get the road bike out for a solid two hour ride with Dr Ned on Sunday morning. That is two rides in one week and I am going to ride it AGAIN on Wednesday! I plan on riding one of my bikes twice a week and trying to get back in some semblance of shape. It has been fun being on them again.

Sunday afternoon was spent mowing the yard for the first time and re-mulching the beds. My brother helped and The Monkey was a big help. She also planted some flowers with her Mama. She is quite the pistol and can now count past ten and say the alphabet!

They came and serviced my sprinkler system just in time for the weather to get cold!

The Monkey had an enjoyable day at the zoo with her Mom yesterday. She said she really liked the tiger and the elephants. She also said she thought she saw Kristen Bieda but it was just a giraffe!

Thank you to the Florida Gators for helping me win the pool at Cycles Unlimited. Look for their coach to take the Kentucky job soon.

Three questions:

1. Do you mow your grass high or low?

2. How did your taxes turn out?

3. Do you have big plans for Easter?

Bye for now,
Shane
